Welcome back, Cougars!

Hello friends, and welcome back! The University of Houston Digital Library is excited for the start of the Spring semester and has a lot in store for you this year, including additions to some of your favorite collections as well as some brand new collections!

Since you've been gone

Over the break, the University said goodbye to Robertson Stadium. Demolition of the stadium began early December and continued throughout the month.

Originally built in 1942 for HISD, the stadium was named Jeppesen Stadium for school board member Holger Jeppesen from 1958-1980. It was later renamed Robertson Stadium in honor of Corbin J. Robertson, former UH Board of Regents member and Athletics Committee Chairman, after the stadium was acquired by the University of Houston for $6.8 million.

You can still watch the progress of the demolition here.
